Architecture & Landscape
The architecture shape and style of Ciputra Waterpark is adapted from Arabic building. The domes with some color pattern are red threads that connect with Ciputra Waterpark theme, Sinbad Adventure. That concept is strengthened with the design of shelter tents and gazebos. The concept of color is also identical with Arabic; dominant khaki, combined with blue, red, and green to create fresh and attractive atmosphere. The exterior is completed with statue and sculpture decoration; such as wrecked ship, Sinbad and friend’s statue, canon, whale etc., which strengthened the theme. These decorative elements involve carver from Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bali.
The landscape concept divide in several zone, nevertheless some part are consistent with Arabic image by chosen plant character such as love grass, kurma, palm, oil palm tree, and needle leaf brushwood. For cost zone, use coconut tree and Ketapang. Although the plant is to strengthen Sinbad Adventure theme, yet to give shelter to visitor, the plants are mix with shady trees.
